The Academy of Management Accountancy Nepal (AMAN) was established with the primary objective of promoting professional education and awareness in the field of Management, Accountancy and Finance in Nepal. Its formation marked a significant step toward bridging the gap between traditional financial accounting and the strategic decision-making needs of modern businesses in Nepal.
The foundation of AMAN came in response to growing national and international trends in cost and management accounting and financial management. With globalization and increased demand for financial efficiency, strategic cost control, and performance management, Nepalese enterprises, both in the public and private sectors required professionals who could support decision-making using advanced management accounting tools and techniques.
Recognizing this need, a group of visionary professionals, academics, and financial experts came together in the early 2019s to initiate an institution dedicated e.

The programme is not designed as one in which highly structured methods and rules are applied various topics in order to find one “correct” solution or answer for problems or issues. Rather, it is more a possibilities quest, in which various controversial conceptual and practical issues will be reviewed and analysed, with due recognition to the reality of alternative value judgements. Given the history of recent developments in the profession and business practices, this approach to the study of the subject of strategic management accounting and business analysis is considered feasible and warranted.
